Nazareth VTC Campus

About Nazareth VTC

What We Do

Practical training. Products. Community impact.

Nazareth VTC focuses on three core activities that prepare learners for work and entrepreneurship:

  • Tailoring & Fashion Design: hands-on training in garment construction, pattern cutting, finishing and small-scale production.
  • Hairdressing & Beauty Services: professional salon training including styling, braiding and basic beauty treatments.
  • Product Sales: students and instructors sell handcrafted goods through our boutique and local markets to support the centre and graduates.

We serve young people from vulnerable and low-income families, providing the skills and market linkages they need for sustainable livelihoods.

Students in Classroom

Our Mission

Empowering young learners, especially those from vulnerable and low-income families, by providing them with practical, market-ready skills for employment, entrepreneurship, and lifelong self-reliance.

Our Vision

To be a leading vocational training centre in Rwanda, nurturing skilled, independent, and morally upright youth through accessible, faith-based practical education.

Our Core Values

Faith

Rooted in Catholic values, offering spiritual guidance alongside practical education.

Education

Dedicated to providing high-quality, hands-on training that meets market demands.

Empowerment

Building self-reliance, independence, and entrepreneurial mindsets in our youth.

Community

Serving vulnerable families and fostering strong partnerships for sustainable growth.

Our Students

Most students at Nazareth VTC come from poor or vulnerable backgrounds. We specifically aim to reach those who have faced hardships and were unable to complete formal secondary education before joining our institution.

Many of our learners are actively supported by generous sponsors, including NGOs, churches, Catholic organizations, and various development partners who help cover their school fees, allowing them to focus entirely on building their future.

Our Management

Nazareth VTC is lovingly and diligently managed by Catholic Nuns. Their leadership ensures that the institution remains a safe, structured, and profoundly caring environment.

Their dedication guarantees that the centre not only imparts technical skills but also instills strong moral values, discipline, and a sense of community responsibility in every graduate who walks through our doors.
